Florrie’s work is built using improvisation, ensemble building and play as the starting point of her creation. Laughter and joy are essential ingredients in her rehearsal room - she takes laughter very seriously, knowing its power to connect audiences and spark meaningful conversations. Like a child in a pic n mix shop Florrie borrows from lots of different styles including, dance & physical theatre, puppetry & object work, musical theatre, clown, film and verbatim.
"Florrie has a very striking imagination and possesses a clear artistic vision, the charisma & force of character to get actors to believe in what she’s asking of them.” - Mark Beeson, former Artistic Director of MED Theatre
